Pete Sawyer needed a reason to escape Wales so he drove up to Leeds to hang a while. He shot a bike check, popped a cheeky wall ride, had a flat white and that was lunch. Heres a run down of his current set up.
Pete's pegless these days but don't let that fool you into thinking he's off the grinds. The 5mm thick CNC dropouts on the Sterling frame hold up to all the pegless carnage Pete puts them through.
Who needs pegs when you have pedals and cranks right?
Double gussets on the Sterling frame keeping that front end super strong.
Trusty pair of Eclat Maveick Cranks and a Merritt Sprocket.
Pete's always been a fan of the slim seat.
Pete wanted super thick tubing on the chainstays to prevent them from being dented on pedal grinds. Despite a bit of battle damge these things are good as new.
Much like the frame, the Sterling fork use thick CNC'd dropouts which make them perfect for those of you who like to grind heavy
Pete's Sterling Frame, Fork and Bars are all available now in Gloss black, Trans Green, Trans blue and Black Titan.
