Dillon Lloyd 'BUCK' Bike Check

As soon as we sat down with Dillon Lloyd to discuss a signature line of parts, we knew it was destined to be something truly indestructible and a real Wethepeople classic. The BUCK line was based around Dillon’s blend of progressive technical riding and all out savagery. His signature parts needed to not only withstand some of the biggest drops and abuse, but also use cutting edge features and technology to make them the perfect tools for him day in, day out.

The BUCK frame uses a taller 127mm head tube, allowing you to run a taller bar position with an uncut fork steerer, without having to run lots of ugly spacers. Dillon wanted a strong yet responsive frame, so we went with a steeper 75.5 degree head tube angle, a shorter 13.3” (slammed) chainstay and a taller 11.8” bottom bracket to give him extra clearance on crooked grinds. The BUCK’s secret weapon is the super tough 7mm thick invest cast dropouts which are designed to run seamlessly into the frame and flush with plastic pegs and hub guards for the perfect fit. Backed by our full Lifetime Guarantee and Dillon’s seal of approval, if you’re looking for a sturdy vessel to get wild on,  the BUCK is the one for you.

Dillon’s BUCK bar will be coming in a taller 9.15” height, but with cut lines on the end to allow you to reduce them to your perfect size with ease. The BUCK bar will be one or the first handlebars on the market to be offered in the both the current 22.2mm clamping size, but also the new 25.4mm option to go with our 25.4mm Hydra stems which will be out at the same time. The larger diameter clamping area results in not only a much stiffer and stronger bar, but gives the stem a more secure grip on the bar preventing the slipping that often occurs due to the extra leverage that comes with the taller 9”+ bars that most riders are running now. Look out for a full promo with the team and why they’ve been hooked on this new standard dropping later this year.

Dillon had some specific requests for a plastic peg so we decided to make them a reality. The Dill Pickle peg features a 4.5” long heat-treated 60-61 alloy core with a thicker Nylon/Fibreglass blend sleeve for long plastic plastic peg that grinds like nothing else.

Look out for the BUCK frame and Bar and the Dill Pickle peg available later this year along with the entire 2016 Wethpeople frame and parts collection.
