Jordan Godwin Bike Check

Were out in Barcelona with the crew right now filming for our new video project FOUNDATION. Jordan Godwin just built up a fresh bike before the trip including a prototype of our 2017 Battleship frame (which will be available in October) along with a healthy portion of eclat parts. Jordan took no time getting used to his steed, and went to work destroying every spot we came across with his signature steeze and style. Take a closer look at his hard 540 machine here.

The Battleship is our new street weapon for the 2017 season. We sat down with Jordan and some of the other guys on the team to build our most responsive, sturdy beast yet.

Taking the super strong hydroformed headtube which made our Scorpio frame so tough, we lengthen the headtube to 127mm tall, making it even stronger, but also allowing you to run an uncut fork without having to use too many stem spacers underneath.

We designed the Battleship frame to be a stripped down weapon without any unnecessary features, so the frame will come fully brakeless to help keep the cost down, which will allow us to put more focus into more vital parts like the dropouts and headtube which have been severely beefed up. The team asked for a shorter chainstay than any other frame we currently offer, so the Battleship will come with a slammed 12.7' chainstay for those of you who like a frame that spins as good as it looks.

The Battleship frame is sick. The short backend makes it really easy to spin and the headtube is really something you can put faith in.
