Product Designer/Manager (F/M)

We have an opening for a Product Designer/Manager with at least 3 years industry experience ideally within the bike industry or in similar product design/management role.

Our company has been involved in the bike industry for 20 years. Originally working in the BMX market and more recently growing and expanding with new brands covering more categories, including urban, gravel, BMX, road, adventure and hartail MTB. In addition to this we have a footwear and also a protection brand, so if you are looking for variety this could be the role for you.  

As a product designer/manager with experience you will be able to hit the ground running and work on new product designs with sketches and CAD drawings. As your design develops your knowledge and experience will allow you to manage the product through to its release onto the market. 


Above all we’re looking for someone who posses a creative ability in developing ideas and problem solving, but combined with the knowledge and experience to see the product through to production.  This role would suit someone who likes to take ownership of his or her work, and is naturally very organized. With so many brands and products the workflow is varied and fast, so you need to be able to flick between tasks easily.  You will work in a close team of graphic and product designers so a friendly and open personality is a must.

Design Skills

  • Generate original design concepts.
  • Communicate ideas through quick sketches.
  • Develop ideas into 3D CAD designs.
  • An understanding of materials and manufacturing techniques

Management Skills

  • Maintaining a controlled overview of the development of multiple products
  • Communicate clearly with manufacturers
  • Assess and confirm detail drawings for manufacture

Computer Skills

  • 3D CAD software, ideally Solidworks
  • Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Microsoft office

We have an immediate opening of a freelance Graphic Designer (3+ year freelance or agency experience) who will work with the marketing team to develop and implement creative, unique, and innovative graphic design concepts and solutions to strengthen the brand(s) image and promote company growth and brand recognition globally. The freelance Graphic Designer collaborates with multiple team members to develop our image through the production of: annual catalogs, magazine advertising spreads, spec-sheets, mini-catalogs, website appearance (non technical,) packaging tags, store P.O.P.s, trade show exhibit graphics, logos, and must be able to use Skype + social media proficiently. Although it is not an absolute requirement, a history in BMX would be very beneficial to this position.

This position is fully freelance so working from your home or office is perfectly reasonable as long as you can always be contacted at the times we specify.

  • Finds creative, relevant, functional, and aesthetically sound design solutions to complex design problems and challenges.
  • Regularly communicates via Skype or join the team for meetings when needed
  • Presents well-defined ideas, concepts, and technical specifications to internal staff, vendors, print shops etc.
  • Manages complex and multi-paged projects (up to 200 pages per edition) to a high standard and to deadline requirements


  • Minimum 3 years of full-time in-house graphic design experience
  • Ability to present concepts to the design/marketing team in a persuasive manner
  • Strong understanding of designing for the current market, trend, etc. and staying ahead of those trends within the BMX market.
  • Practical knowledge of pre-press, print production/packaging costing and impact of design
  • A personal interest in BMX, travel, and a broad and innovative/creative mind.
  • To be flexible with hours and to always be on hand for last minute design work.
